After the many mishaps here I left the library for a week for my holiday. It was left it the hands of the art teacher (who is doing this as part of his role as Art in the Community Coordinator). Here is the final result.


It isnt perfect, and we would do it completely differently next time, but it isn't as creased, and the extra words really help with the composition.

New library display

Another display, a seasonal one this time.

Apologies for the poor photos, it was very sunny. I don't love this display, but again, it will do for now. The computer is made from cardboard covered in black paper.

Library Display - Roald Dahl

I am not as happy with this display as with the Jacqueline Wilson one, but it will do for now. I don't have the time to be too picky just now!

So this is author board no. 1 - with two posters from a book shop, and some printed stuff from the internet. The red envelope has leaflets from her website that are picture checklists of her books, for the students to take.

Some new library displays

I found this display very hard to photograph. It is a space of two cupboard tops. The little poster on the red box says 'Fall in love in with a good book'. The books are pink and about love. There are pink fairy style lights wrapped around them. I will neaten the lights up, and try and get an extension plug to actually switch them on!

Shelf finished

I finished the desk shelf, as started here. The inside is different, so I must get some photos once my desk is a little tidier.
